THE GARDEN GATE
Often a missed opportunity to add that something extra...a bit of unexpected detail...the garden gate.
Fence and gate details are one of my favorite ways to add structure, charm, and most importantly...privacy...to the garden.
As a native Southerner, I tend to be more than a little traditional, or as I prefer to say...classic. Thank goodness Chippendale variations are once again all the rage.
Funny...down south we just consider this style as part and parcel of our architectural vernacular!
