meet and greet (aka open houses)

It is a tradition among Realtors to preform certain tasks for their sellers, and one of these is to hold a Sunday afternoon open house.


Open houses are held for many reasons....to meet new clients, to meet the neighbors, appease the seller, etc. I enjoy doing them, and especially when there is alot of foot traffic! Seldom does an open house sell the property, but it does tend to create a "buzz" about the property. Example: You are at the office coffee pot...what did you do this weekend...went to an open house...yada yada yak yak....get it?

This weekend my team had 6 houses open. It took hours of planning just to discuss where the directional signs were to be placed! Our team was down to 3 this weekend so we had to recruit from outside our ranks...thanks to you all!

So the next time you drive by an open house sign, stop in and just say Hi...you never know who you might meet...maybe even DT!
