Awards and accolades
Yesterday started early for me in a country club ballroom with 200 or so Realtors. It was what we call in the trade "Awards Day". Most of you know that the team at DT&CO. work very hard all year, so this day is when we are recognized by our peers for our hard work. Yesterday was no exception. We walked away with many top awards both regional and company wide.
But the thought hit me as I was driving away from this function that the real reward was the trust and confidence of our many clients during 2012. To place your largest asset (or potential asset) in the hands of a team of professionals is daunting, even downright scary! So many things could go wrong, and the financial repercussions could be major.
So it is very nice to have trophies, plaques, and crystal bowls...but what is even more important is the trust of a buyer or seller to help them make a change in their life. I am truly humbled each and every time.
