A Tented Occassion
The dog days of August are here and nothing says we are having a big bash here in the South quite like a tented party. The old saying is that if you don't like the weather right now wait 5 minutes and it is sure to change. We could go from a cold front to scorching heat to monsoon in the course of an hour or less. This is why tent rental companies do quite well in these parts!
Wedding receptions, children's parties, ladies luncheons, or just about any occasion can be held under the safety zone of a tent! Color or all white, themes of any description, lovely lighting for evening events...all this is possible with the right vendors or event planner! I went to a party once for a wedding reception where the mother of the bride had tented off the entire back and side yard of her historic home on the town square. That is how we roll down east! I promise not to attempt to recount how many years ago that was for both my sake and those in attendance!
