Fall....the most perfect season!

While many may mourn the end of summer and all the fun it brings, the fall season is what really gets me excited!  My creative juices peak simultaneously with the brightly colored falling leaves from the variety of old growth trees.  Nothing compares to the color of the maples, oaks, elms, and all their beautiful cousins! 

In this part of the South we are blessed to experience all four seasons.  Some years spring will merge directly into summer, but lately we have had a pleasant "real" spring and bearable summers.  But in my opinion, fall is when things really are at their best.  Perfect weather, no humidity, no biting insects, great porch time, tailgates, loads of parties, and best of all....the fall wardrobe!  Nothing beats a great suede loafer, cashmere sweater, tweed blazer, comfy jeans...all my favorite things!

So you water babies can have your summer fun in the sun, but this guy would rather wrap up in layers any day and take a leisurely stroll along a leafy path!
