The Art of a Simple Note

Just a few lines....that's all it takes.  It may be to say thank you, thinking of you, just to catch up, or let someone know you care. Whatever the reason you write a note, just know that the time and effort you spend could make a lasting impression on the receiver.
I am not talking about cards for Mother's Day, invites, or holiday cards. No, these are just little notes that come unexpectedly in your daily pile of bills, junk mail, and offers for yet another credit card.  These are always the envelopes I open first!

If you have a few minutes to spare today, instead of picking up your phone and sending a text, why not pull out a notecard (you should always keep some on hand at the office and at home) and send a few lines to a friend or business acquaintance.  You will be amazed at the return on investment!

As always...xx.DT

  1. Excellent post! I, too, always keep a stash of notecards at my desk at home and in my office. A quick note is always appreciated, particularly as a "thank you" after a party or when someone does something nice that merits more than casual acknowledgment. Well done, sir!
