"Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing that we see too late the one that is open.”...Alexander Graham Bell...inventor of the telephone!

When Alexander invented the telephone, I am sure he had no idea of the extreme dependency we would have on them in today's world. At anytime, in any city, the majority of people I pass on the road, in the grocery aisle, or at the mall have a phone on their ear! I often wonder what is so important...then MY phone rings. Remember to pick up milk...will you be here at 6...can you tell me about this house (I am sitting in front of your sign).

The point is that we are all very connected these days. Texting, emails (now almost passe), and the fax (an antique method of sending papers). Keeping up with the technology is a full time job, and thankfully "da hubby" and my young team members keep me up to speed. I think it is funny that until 1999 I hardly ever used a computer, had no email, and the cell phone was this huge thing you could not put in your pocket!

But change is good, and I have embraced the change...I mean really...blogging! We are all connected, whether you like it or not, and don't even get me started about Facebook and social media. That is a book in itself.

How does relate to real estate? In this connected world, you need a TEAM of people who are responsive and techno savvy to find and share the latest stats and deals in a quickly changing market. At DT&CO. we have that in place for you...all the trades you need...to find, finance, insure, furnish, or renovate your new home.

This is how WE stay connected...today's opportunity is tomorrow's closing for someone.

Thanks/DT
