So you want to host a cocktail party? Tip....the best ones are the most simple ones. Limit the kinds of booze, have one specialty drink, keep the snacks simple and just enough...after all...it is a cocktail party, not dinner! The doldrums of Winter are the perfect time to get friends together! The holidays are long gone and we need a "party for no reason" kind of party!
A great idea I ran across (and more casual) is to serve pre-mixed specialty cocktails in small mason jars in a big tub of ice. Country chic y'all!

If you gathering is on the smallish side, you can set up the bar just about anywhere in the house. Be creative and then set the snacks all around....after all...that is how we drink and munch!
