THE NEW NURSERY

It must have been a cold winter!  At least 3 of my real estate clients are expecting!  When I ask them about the nursery I am getting a very similar response...no "themes".  They are opting for a more neutral color palette and taking a much more sophisticated approach to what in the past has been the "cutesy" room in the house.

I can think of nothing better than a child's first memories of their room as a soothing and elegant space as opposed to a cartoon!  Perhaps this trend will bring about a whole generation of young people who appreciate beautiful things instead of bright colored plastic.  What a
concept!

Either way...kids will be kids.  I have been advised by experienced mothers to make sure everything is washable!
