Poor Thing....
A picture is worth a thousand words. I don't know who said this prolific phrase first, but it came to mind this morning while going through a blog or Pinterest or some other media (which is how I spend my 5am to 8am time typically).
Look at the expression on the face of Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton.
The first as a much younger woman, but such sadness in the eyes and a forced smile. The second, obviously much older, dripping in jewels with a downturned mouth and the eyes are now devoid of any emotion at all. Blank...dead...cold.
So you see dear friends, the riches of this world are only enriching when you understand that things in and of themselves will never make you truly rich. Your true riches come through your relationship with your life and how you live it.
Embrace the life you have and live it to the fullest every day. Choose to have a rich life!
