Don't be a turkey at Christmas!
We all just had turkey a few weeks ago, so why recreate that same meal for Christmas? Think outside the box and surprise your family and friends with something different for the annual Christmas meal. I thought today I would offer a few ideas of what I might cook up....perhaps you will be a bit inspired in the kitchen.
I found this recipe for a foolproof and easy Beef Wellington....here is the link for the instructions for both. I would serve this with some roasted broccoli (Barefoot Contessa style) and maybe some scalloped potatoes.

For desert (the best part) how about this one from Martha Stewart. A candied pecan three tiered cake with brown butter pears! Oh my! I am a pie lover, but this one could convert me!

Of course there is always Chinese food and a movie!
